I like to go with skinning AND either herbalism OR mining, but some people choose herbalism and mining. Keep in mind you can only track one thing at a time.
Grey items are considered trash and can be sold to npcs.It takes quite a while to make a substantial amount of swtor credits, but it can be done if you're willing to.
Choose your professions wisely. Most people will choose two from: mining, skinning, and herbalism. Any of the professions can be used to make money,SWTOR Gold Sale, but these are probably the most convenient and profitable.
