You'll usually find someone willing to help. The trick is to build a relationship with whoever you find, so they'll make this stuff for you later. Gather your materials either in the world or buy them at the Auction house, then get your products made.

Post and price your auctions first thing every time you log in to play. I know of some people that create an alt just for the purpose of posting auctions, which is a trick you might consider as well.
